Easter Sunday

We celebrated Easter this year by eating lots of delicious food and hanging out with our families.

We went to the Leppard's house with all the Preos for lunch and enjoyed the nice weather while it lasted playing soccer, it is not a family gathering without a pick up game of some sort.

This is the only picture I took all day sadly. Dasha and I showed up in almost the same exact outfit. Same cardigan, grey shirt, dark jeans, and grey Toms. I guess this is how you roll when your names are masha and dasha .

After lunch we went over to the Mulcocks for Dinner, an Easter egg hunt with the kids, and some basketball. I wish I would have taken some pictures of the little kids searching for eggs they are all so adorable.



I might be going through slight withdrawals without these around all the time. They are hands down my favorite Easter candy.

I added them to my favorite chocolate chip oatmeal cookies and they were delicious.

This looks like so much fun!

Next year I will be definately be incorporating this activity in my Easter Festivies! I wish I could do it this year but finals and this awesome winter spring weather is making that a little difficult.

Double Date Nights

This weekend we had two great double date nights in a row.

Friday we went to dinner and a dollar movie with Matt's friend Jake and his wife Sahar. We saw Just Go With It, I thought it was ok it had a few funny parts but overall just super predictable romantic comedy with mediocre acting.

On Saturday we had a wonderful evening with Steph and Fulton. We started out our evening with some croquet. Steph and I had both never played before and we thoroughly enjoyed it.

We will definitely be playing more this Summer!

 After croquet we went to dinner and finished the night off with watching ESPN 30 for 30 documentaries and eating lots of ice cream.

I am so lucky that Matt and I both get along great with each other's friends and their significant others, it makes for lots of fun weekends like this one.

Just in case you were thinking of going and getting a random redbox romantic comedy, like my sister and I do when our husbands/brothers decide to play xbox, avoid this movie! 

This is the worst movie I have seen in a long time! It is not even one of those bad movies that is funny or entertaining because it is so bad and you can just mock it the entire time (that is usually one of the kinds of movies we are looking for at redbox). It was so painfully boring, literally nothing happens and nothing is resolved after an hour and a half of crazy people having confusing conversations and getting drunk. The only thing that was redeeming at all was the soundtrack.

New Toys

This week Matt and I splurged on our early graduation presents. They are our new favorite toys!



We both got these phones. The Samsung Galaxy 4G

I have never had a nice phone before, I have always just gotten whatever free or cheap upgrade was available. My phone before this one I had for 2 plus years and it has been falling apart for the last few months, but this week it completely stopped making any sound and so we decided to spring for our graduation presents early. We also got a great deal on our service and 100 dollars off our phones the day we did it so we figured that it was as good a day as any. Now I just have to learn how to really take care of my phone and not drop it 5 times a day like I did with my old crappy ones!
